This is a wide open handicap in which Border Music, Stoic Leader and Bessemer look to be the leading lights with the vote given to the last mentioned. The selection ran well when last seen out when finishing fourth at Southwell behind Phluke. He looks to be on a fair mark at present and he could represent the value in the race. Border Music finished behind our selection last time and the simple fact is that he is not as good on the turf as he is on the all-weather. Stoic Leader is a course and distance winner and he is in good heart based on his latest run at Musselburgh when he was a close second behind Will He Wish. He likes to come from off the pace so he will need some luck in running, but he has definite claims. Trojan Flight has never won over this trip so looks opposable on that basis and for the winner we will stick with Bessemer.
