Verdict
STEEL CITY won this last year when racing off the same mark. He didn’t show much after, including on his reappearance, but has probably been laid out for the race again so is preferred to Sedgefield scorer Flowery and Baratineur, who found only one too good over track and trip nine days ago but hasn’t won in almost three years. New List may have been placed at Sedgefield last time had he stood up but is now 0-10 under Rules. Canadian George is also seeking a first victory of any description but may do better now handicapping.
