Verdict
Indian Storm can defy a penalty against a field dominated mainly by newcomers including Ballabrook, Youamazeme and Smart. Market support for any of that last named trio should be heeded, but on the evidence so far, the selection just has to be Indian Storm. George Moore's charge made a winning debut at Sedgefield in November, but had the misfortune to come up against a couple of useful animals in Tazbar and Sir Boreas Hawk here at Catterick later that month. Not disgraced in finishing third, he meets nothing of that calibre today, and should prove well up to the task. Of the others that have raced so far, Troy's Run, a stablemate of the aforementioned Tazbar, makes a bit of appeal, while Fearmore has also had the benefit of a run. However, Indian Storm sets a high standard and will be hard to beat despite his penalty.
