In depth

Verdict

Vinetta is only five and has a future as a stayer judged on her run behind Special Catch here on New Year's Day. MOUNT HOPE was having only his third start over timber when runner-up to Chat Room over 2m here in December and with plenty of scope for improvement looks the one to be on. Fairynuff has shown promise though has a long absence to overcome while Knight Valliant is 10lb higher than when scoring at Carlisle in October though he found testing ground against him last time. Amir Pasha is a regular around here and pops up occasionally but the veteran King Mak, though reasonably treated, would prefer the ground to dry out.
