In depth

Verdict

None of the newcomers in this really stand out on breeding. Leostar might improve on his fifth at Musselburgh but he was beaten almost 20 lengths. We’ll concentrate on the two point-to-point converts with Donald McCain, responsible for Loughanmore second The Some Dance Kid, adept at finding races under Rules for similar types. TWOTWOTHREE may have more speed, however, as he won a 2m4f maiden at Chaddesley Corbett by 10 lengths and is by St Leger winner Shantou who has sired some smart jumpers.
