In depth
Verdict
Millfield, Skhilling Spirit and Mujood are the trio to concentrate on in this nursery handicap with the narrow preference for Millfield. The selection has already won twice at this track and he showed a game attitude to score over 7f here when beating Jaassey. The drop back to this trip should not be a problem and he looks to have a leading chance. Skhilling Spirit is not the most straightforward but he does have ability and he ran with great credit last time when third behind Wovoka. That was an improved effort and if he can improve again then he will not be far away at the finish. Mujood can be forgiven his latest run at Goodwood when he failed to handle the course. This colt is dropped back to the minimum trip tonight and he has an obvious chance if he can run up to his best. Bowland Boy is from a shrewd yard and looks the best of the remainder, but for the winner we will stick with Millfield.
