Raise A Spark won a similar class handicap at Bangor in December by 19l for which he was raised 12lb. He again ran well at Haydock last time and should give a good account. Never Up has failed to make the expected progress after scoring at Carlisle in May but Beeno undoubtedly improved at Newcastle last time and is on the same mark. Arabian Oasis was well beaten when third at Hexham in the summer and will need more so this can go to SNOWED IN. Barbara Butterworth's grey is hardly prolific over hurdles having a strike-rate of 3-51 but he likes it here having won easily on New Year's Day before a fair run from today's 10lb higher mark on a return visit.
