Verdict

Good Tradition won a maiden hurdle for Dermot Weld in Ireland but made little impression at Aintree on his debut for new connections. Point-to-point winner CKALCO DES LOGES is preferred as he was a distance clear of the rest when third at Ayr on his hurdling bow and Dan Skelton’s charge should go close with normal progress. Master Of Irony won three times on the Flat and makes his hurdling bow but bumper winner After Toniight was having his first start for nearly two years when fading badly and pulled up in the closing stages at Hexham on his first start over timber.
