Verdict

CALATAGAN is no longer in the full flush of youth but, even on last season's indifferent form over fences, is thrown in here and could have the race run to suit as the versatile Pret A Thou will ensure a strong gallop. Heavenly Chorus is chasing a hat-trick on this course after a couple of recent successes over 2m, while C&D winner Double Vodka came back to form with a second over this trip at Doncaster and is another danger. Fortysecond Street will have to jump better than he did when favourite at Ayr last month if he's to figure, however, and Carrietau has struggled to get home over this trip in the past and hasn't raced since disappointing at Wetherby in November.
