Cumberland Road has an obvious chance judged by official BHB ratings and is taken to finally open his account in a distinctly moderate contest where the main dangers look to be Nautico and Hippolyte. The selection is, like his rivals, no world-beater but a reproduction of the pick of his form should be more than good enough to beat these although lack of a recent run has to be of concern. Lucky Lil is no better than plating class but she has shown a glimmer of ability, while Active Audience has very quickly gone downhill and is probably best left out of calculations. Cape Sydney needs to improve but looks to be going the right way, albeit at a low level, and she does come from a yard back among the winners of late. Nautico ran better last time and comes into the reckoning judged by that effort, while Hippolyte is less exposed than most of these and cannot be ruled out but Cumberland Road has an obvious chance and gets the vote in the hope that he is fit enough.
