In depth

Verdict

Runners often head for the stands’ side in the straight on soft going here so a wide draw for TRICKY DICKY (NAP) may not be as much as a disadvantage as first appears. He has a penalty for last week’s victory at Pontefract but has improved since joining Roger Fell’s stable. Lucky Beggar has the inside berth and also arrives in peak form so looks the danger, though the drop in class will help Rose Marmara and Satchville Flyer could also figure if on a going day. Indian Pursuit and Socialites Red are others with each-way claims.
