        Verdict

Bafana Boy has rock solid form to bring to the races here and as a result he gets the vote to be too good for Accepting and Mr Floppy. The selection has to lump top weight around here, but he is the class horse of the contest, stays well and races from a mark 22lb below that which he would over fences, so he can score. Accepting is another thorough stayer who loves a sound surface and should go well. However, he is hard to win with and looks plenty high enough in the weights at present, so he is opposed. Mr Floppy is open to more improvement than that runner and he will need to do that to get involved, but better ground than last time may help. Compton Eclaire and Moon Melody both have bits of form that could see them in the battle for the minors, but Bafana Boy looks well in here and is a confident choice.
