Verdict

Running In Heels produced a good front-running performance over fences at Musselburgh last month and would have an obvious chance if turning up here but was engaged to run back there yesterday. Donald McCain has won this for the past two years and IRISH HAWKE won a Sedgefield handicap at this level in August. He hasn't done so well in two subsequent starts but this is a poor contest and he's taken to get back to winning ways. Toarmandowithlove has gone close on a few occasions though is still a maiden after 33 starts but Rocket Ronnie has won six times on the Flat though his recent runs over timber have been poor. Down Time has been running on the Flat though hasn't been showing much and is 1-28 over hurdles. Cadore was engaged to run at Musselburgh yesterday.
