Verdict

Captain Dunne won this last year off an 8lb higher mark and could go well. Flash City won a lower grade sprint at Doncaster earlier in the month and is upped 4lb while Best Trip is penalised for winning over 6f here a week ago. Desert Ace finished ahead of Rusty Rocket, King Crimson and Ayresome Angel when third at Carlisle on his penultimate start and Singeur posted a better effort at Beverley recently having slipped back down the weights. But PEARL ACCLAIM also finished closer when a length behind the winner at Musselburgh and Dandy Nicholls’ charge rates a speculative selection to come out best.
