Last year’s winner Sfumato is back on a winning mark having raced over 7f here a fortnight ago. Ginato posted a better effort at the same fixture but Polam Lane was still well beaten when third at Ayr having won at Carlisle earlier with Quercus behind. LIV LUCKY won at Hamilton last month and having been beaten less than a length at the same track, the Johnstons’ filly looks worth sticking with in her current form.
