Last Applause won here last time but had every chance at Newcastle yesterday so a chance is taken on another filly in MERCURY DAY. The latter made a promising debut when fourth at Newmarket and should go close if coping with the testing ground. Bubbles Wonky has similar form to the selection having debuted at Redcar while Pontefract third Goldingreatstore is upped in trip.
