In depth

Verdict

Despite giving 14lb to all of his rivals, THE LAST SAMURI is going to be a short price to complete his hat-trick as the horse he beat at Bangor last time, Horizontal Speed, has won easily twice since. Shark Hanlon has sent over points winner Rare Legend, who showed definite promise on his hurdling debut at Navan, and he is the only conceivable danger. Native Spa may be the pick of the remainder as he at least has a bit of scope
