    Verdict

We open with a seller and while we respect the chances of Edas after he took a selling hurdle last time we'll take a chance on NAWAMEES in preference to Evelith Regent and Five Wishes. The pick has a pretty decent record over this trip and with the ground expected to get ever softer before the off he should go well, as his best has come on the Fibresand, and he should end a losing run. Edas took that race over timber in fine style against a higher rated opponent and again he should be a leading contender having also acted well at Southwell and has just a pound to find on the selection. Five Wishes is given a chance on the official ratings and despite a poor run of form in handicaps recently he goes well at this level and in soft conditions. Evelith Regent makes his seasonal reappearance after 183 days off and although his recent best has come in these sorts of races he is not brilliantly treated. It may not be a race to get the pulse racing but it is competitive and Nawamees is taken to score.
