        Verdict

        Confidential Creek went close in a seller last time but faces stiffer opposition in this while Shirley's Pride will also need to improve further to follow up her victory over track and trip a fortnight ago when she had Ridgeblade and Moss The Boss behind. Alhaarth Beauty has been placed in maidens on the Polytrack of late and is preferred to Perfect Words and Rangooned but the vote goes to FREE ISLAND. James Tate's charge can be forgiven a below-par effort at Southwell last time as he didn't take to the Fibresand but has every chance on his earlier third in a handicap at Wolverhampton.
