In depth

Verdict

The horses with experience look nothing out of the ordinary and so we will take a chance with Len Lungo's newcomer Teviot Brig, Mumbles Head and Darcy Wells could be the main dangers. The selection only cost eight thousand guineas but is nicely bred for this game being a half brother to bumper winner Reivers Moon. The market will be a major pointer but so long it doesn't drift too badly Teviot Brig is a tentative choice. Darcy Wells is from a yard that knows the time of day and although out with the washing on his debut, we may see a different horse this afternoon with that experience behind him. Mumbles Head and On Tilt hail from stables that do well in this sphere and as with the selection they need to be monitored closely in the betting. All in all a bit of a guessing game, but we will side with Teviot Brig.
