Verdict

LA FORTUNA completed a hat-trick on three different artificial surfaces within a fortnight then made a successful Turf debut at Bath under a huge weight. This looks no more difficult and Joshua Bryan's claim negates most of his penalty. Windforpower is only moderate but has been brilliantly placed to win 16 times in his 126 starts though he hasn't won off a mark this high in almost three years. In contrast, Dapper Man is 1-23 and does better on much faster ground but Coiste Bodhar ran his best race for some time on good to soft going at Nottingham on Saturday and can race from the same mark. Endeavour completed a double for Richard Hannon at this time a year ago but hasn't shown much for new connections.
