      Verdict

      Wobwobwob had been running well all summer before paying his first visit here 10 days ago and scoring over the trip with a bit in hand. He had Danzan two lengths behind and should confirm the form despite being up 5lb but YANIFER, another who has been in excellent form, was a comfortable winner at York earlier this month and can defy a 6lb rise. The softer the ground the better for Cold Stare, who makes a quick reappearance after a very close fifth on heavy ground at Doncaster on Saturday while Maywake has competed at a higher level since landing a York handicap in May.
