Verdict

After a narrow defeat at Nottingham earlier this month, SERA DAWN went one better on a return visit a week later when getting up close home on soft ground. She's gone up 4lb but George Bass can claim 3lb here so a quick double looks on the cards. Premier Option's best run came on fast ground here last summer and he never really got involved on soft going here a fortnight ago. Doctor Mozart was consistent without winning in his early races on Turf but has done better on the all-weather, winning three times, though his latest came in a Wolverhampton seller. Fortunate Star looked as though he could do with another furlong on his reappearance at Thirsk.
