Verdict
Excessive gets a solid shout here ahead of Maia and Miss Taboo. Beaten a short head at Nottingham last time, Excessive did not shirk the issue there and can make amends here in a modest race, as her form entitles her too. Maia was disappointing at Chester last time but, dropping back in trip, she could be fancied based on her promising debut run the time before that. Onatopp would hold claims on a couple of placed efforts in maidens, but those runs came on soft ground, and much as Miss Taboo gained a placing last time, the bare form is very modest. Finally, Scene Three should have some improvement to come and Swift Princess, who was blinkered for the first time, has over a length to find with Miss Taboo based on their May 12th Thirsk meeting and Rose Of Inchinor has even more to find. Once again, then, the selection has to be Excessive.
