Verdict

Chu Chu Percy has struck top form, scoring at Newcastle then defying a 5lb rise over this track and trip. He's up another 5lb but is on the upgrade so should get into contention. Along Came Theo has been narrowly beaten in his last three starts and will enjoy the conditions more than most so he's on the short-list as is Musselburgh winner Fraser Canyon, who found only the hot favourite Jump For Dough too strong on a return visit and still looks on a reasonable mark. Tickanrun has yet to win and has been beaten off lower marks but MILLY BALOO (NAP) reverts to hurdling having just been beaten a Wetherby before looking a certain winner here last month when running out at the last - compensation awaits Tim Easterby's mare.
