Doctor Parkes looks the one they all have to beat here and gets the nod ahead of Paddy Bear and Capo Regime. The selection has produced the best form of any of these to have seen a racecourse so far, having had three starts at both five and six furlongs. Being by Diktat he should be able to handle any ground and certainly today's conditions should not inconvenience, and he can score. Paddy Bear is tried again after a short break. Although he improved slightly from his first run to his second, perhaps the latter came a little too soon and he can probably show us more here today. Capo Regime is being brought along steadily by Dandy Nicholls and ran well in defeat at Thirsk last time on fast ground. If more rains fall his pedigree suggests he will be more than happy so he could prove a threat. Inthawain is probably capable of better than her first two starts have shown, while Imaginary Diva has had a few chances and is certainly taking her time to get the hang of the game. Money for any of the newcomers would be interesting and Swiss Lake Sweetie may prove best of that trio, but we'll prescribe Doctor Parkes to score.
