    Verdict

Gordon Elliott's Spring Lane ran quite well behind Ifyousayso at Musselburgh but will need to raise his game in this company. Fame Again and Gonow but showed some debut promise despite being well beaten and should improve while The Mongolian is bred for this job being a half-sister to two winning bumpers. BHAKTI hasn't done much wrong despite being a dozen lengths behind Howaboutnow at Bangor on his latest start. He should improve and the presence of Brendan Powell in the saddle is a bonus.
