        In depth

        Verdict

        Gottcher is saddled with a 12lb penalty for his two recent victories but he's won off a higher mark in the past so will take some beating. However, the concession of over a stone to the in-form MEGALEKA may prove beyond him as Alan Bailey's filly, who won easily at Nottingham a couple of weeks ago, almost defied an 8lb rise in a better race at Yarmouth on Sunday and Natasha Eaton's claim is a major bonus. Tuibama bounced back to winning ways at Newcastle last month and should go well again and stablemate Captain Royale is just 4lb higher than his victory on that track. Lady Poppy looked on her way back to form with a decent effort here last time and she's won here in the past.
