In depth

Verdict

Western Run was engaged in the 2.30 Carlisle yesterday. SALVINO certainly wasn’t winning out of turn at Kelso and it may be worth taking a chance that his stamina lasts out over this longer trip with Bruce Lynn taking off 5lb again. Tiger Jet is scheduled to make a quick reappearance after winning at Newcastle on Saturday but Johnson's Blue may be a bigger danger having run well in decent company at Aintree when on a five-timer.
