In depth

Verdict

Cottersrock’s form figures are off-putting but he is starting to look well treated. However, GOLDEN INVESTMENT won at Wetherby last month and was then a close-up fourth in a much better race at Ayr – he could be capable of conceding weight all round. Captain Mowbray won at Wetherby earlier this month on his 22nd try but has gone up 5lb for that. Red Danaher is edging closer while Attention Please won well at Doncaster but is held by the selection on earlier form.
