Verdict
COOL SPIRIT has the single standout piece of form in the book in what appears to be a very winnable contest. His debut effort over this trip at Beverley in June came in a much stronger race than this, and that form has been handsomely franked since. Whilst he could only be considered slightly disappointing on his return to the track at Haydock earlier in the month, reverting back to the minimum trip on faster ground should make him the horse the others have to beat today.
