Uncle Bryn has shown a little promise on the Flat and is one to note but Kalkan Bay and Born To Shine have looked moderate so far and face tough opposition. Chadford, who showed little on the level, created a shock when slamming his rivals in a Wetherby maiden on his hurdling debut but failed to fire when stepped up to Listed company on a return visit. This represents a big drop in class but he may meet his match in CUBAN PIECE. Donald McCain's charge disappointed on the Flat but is looking a much better hurdler and made all for a comfortable success at Bangor last time. Coax was a bit better than most of these on the level and is one to keep an eye on as he makes his hurdling debut.
