In depth
Verdict
Little recent winning form to enthuse over and it might be worth going along with the old man of the party, CASUAL CAVALIER. He concedes weight and age to all rivals but has steadily found form since joining the excellent Tristan Davidson yard. He clearly has no secrets from the handicapper but a repeat of his latest effort when a respectable third in a fair Ayr handicap will surely see him in the mix. The Ewart horses are generally running well and Bering Upsun should have more to offer after just three runs over fences. The feeling is the best is yet to come with him. Event Of Sivola has yet to reproduce his solid French form for his new yard and Knocknamona is exceptionally well handicapped if he could rediscover some sort of form.
