WHIPPHOUND won over the minimum trip at this fixture a year ago and has no problems with the extra as he showed when scoring at Thirsk in August. He's handed a speculative vote in a poor-class finale. Firesnake has only won at Chelmsford and failed to reach a place in 11 starts on Turf and though Commanche has won 11 races he's better on the all-weather these days. Jorvik Prince had been running poorly before just failing to hold on at Wolverhampton but a repeat should see him go close while it's about time Redrosezorro was losing his maiden tag, though he's now been beaten three times off this mark over longer trips on this track. Snow Excuse has only had four runs and did a bit better at Chelmsford but Cool Strutter was engaged in the 4.00 at Redcar yesterday.
