Trading Trouble showed progressive form over hurdles last season and did not do too badly on his seasonal reappearance (and chase debut) at Uttoxeter when looking in need of the race. He should be fitter here and may take all the beating. Dhaudeloup was a decent hurdler in his time and if translating that to the larger obstacles should go well although his long absence is a worry. Kamloops is another returning from a long break and he is probably best watched here. Militaire ran well last time out at Wetherby on similar ground to here. The drop back in trip is a slight concern but he should still give the selection most to do. Diceman put in a pleasing run at Doncaster on his latest appearance and although his trainer is in good form the going is not likely to bring the best in this gelding.
