In depth

Verdict

The unbeaten Mutual Trust is held in high regard and landed a Group 3 race over C&D three weeks ago with Venomous four lengths behind. Further progress is expected here and he looks to have the best chance of the home contingent given Glorious Sight and Temps Au Temps look just short of Group 1 level. Zoffany gave the mighty Frankel a bit of a fright at Ascot last time with Neebras a couple of lengths back in fourth. A top-class two-year-old, the Ballydoyle colt sets the standard here and will take the beating, but STRONG SUIT looks worth a gamble. His connections certainly think so as they've laid out 24,000 euros to supplement him for this on the back of his victory in the Jersey Stakes at Ascot. He looked right back to his best there after a breathing operation and Richard Hannon must think he's up to this greater test having won it with stablemate Dick Turpin last year.
