AGENT SHIFTWELL was beaten less than a length over track and trip with cheekpieces added for the first time. The headgear remains in place and Stuart Williams’ charge can return to winning ways. Smokey bids for a hat-trick on the back of victories at Southwell though beat Capla Spirit when scoring on the Polytrack back in January while Miss Thoughtful’s recent second came over a longer trip here. Autumn Flight and Abel Handy return to action but both won off similar marks last year and are worth a second glance.
