Lucymai and Carolinae have been taking it in turns to beat each other in similar contests here while Rufus King won over a mile at the track last time. Vale Of Kent has been in fine form at Goodwood recently and stablemate Masham Star won last year’s renewal off today’s mark. The progressive Mankib bids for a hat-trick and already has a verdict over subsequent 6f winner Mazzini but a competitive contest can go to CENOTAPH. The former Ballydoyle inmate has won both starts over 6f here since joining Jeremy Noseda and is taken to defy a hike in the weights back over today’s trip with Ryan Moore keeping the partnership intact after romping home by five lengths last time.
