      Verdict

      Lady Lavina will have gone into a few notebooks after finishing fourth at Ripon despite failing to get a clear run. Little Edi disappointed at the same track having finished runner-up earlier while Confederation failed to the land the odds at Leicester and steps up in trip. MASCAPONE is also upped in distance having switched yards since debuting in the Brocklesby at Doncaster and finishing fourth. Plenty of winners have come out of that race and David Simcock’s new charge gets the vote.
