Verdict

DESERT MORNING romped home by six lengths at Lingfield last time and can shrug off a penalty with a similar effort. Gracious George won over track and trip on his latest start but only by a head while Cookie Ring won a lower grade handicap over 7f a fortnight ago when denying Camdora a hat-trick. Spirit Of Gondree has found the progressive Bridge Of Sighs too good here on a couple of occasions while Clockmaker's recent placed efforts have been on the Fibresand at Southwell.
