        Verdict

        Branscombe was placed for the fourth time in succession when third at Bath while Purple Rock was expected to do better at Lingfield a fortnight ago and both of the above drop back down in trip. Four Fifty Three is upped in class off a higher mark having won over track and trip last month while Mutanaqel goes handicapping for the first time having been well beaten in maiden races recently. But given most of these fail to inspire any confidence, a chance is taken on NAKHAYTAK improving as he steps up from 6f for his handicap debut.
