    Verdict

    Placed at Chantilly in June, the betting may give the best indication of Crystal Quartz's chances as she debuts for David Evans. But SOFT LOVE looks a safer choice after a narrow-margin defeat at Lingfield and, having plenty in hand with the likes of Blackasyourhat and Mary Ann Bugg on today's terms, she gets the nod. Carrabamababe and Little Danielle are both hard to fancy on what little they have shown so far.
