In depth

Verdict

FORCEFUL APPEAL looks worth sticking with as he bids for a hat-trick of course and distance wins. He has a penalty to carry but won by a comfortable margin last week and can go in again. Ruban has something to find with the selection on earlier running here while the handicapper is proving reluctant to give Flow any leeway with the latter due to have his seventh consecutive start off today's mark despite not winning. Ifwecan and Patriotic also look high enough in the weights on the evidence of their recent form.
