Verdict

Not straightforward with two newcomers, three with no form of note and the protagonists returning from major lay-offs. Battle Of Paradise has the most solid form on offer but he didn't really follow up a very promising debut when easily turned over at odds-on next time at Newcastle. Subsequently gelded, his chance is obvious but JUNOOH may have his measure. The Stoute inmate, seemingly unfancied when making a satisfactory fifth of 12 debut back in a maiden at the Craven meeting, has since been gelded and given plenty of time by his patient handler. He can build on that pleasing start. Star Guide is a token choice of next best behind the front two.
