      Verdict

      Beautiful Bertie won nicely over a mile at Lingfield with a horse rated 81 back in third and has every chance, despite a penalty. But STATE OF BLISS beat a subsequent winner now rated 91 at Chester last time and Mark Johnston’s colt may come out best in this. Neminos finished third of four at Windsor on his debut but steps up in trip along with Epidemic while the latter’s stablemate and newcomer Sergeant Major is related to a couple of winners.
