Verdict
Verne Castle hasn’t won since landing a course and distance double in 2018 though found only one too good here a week ago. But THEGREATESTSHOWMAN has faced tougher tasks than this since scoring over today’s trip at Lingfield in November and Amy Murphy’s charge can take advantage of the drop in class. Typhoon Ten has recorded both wins so far over longer trips while Lancelot Du Lac also drops back down in distance today having slid further down the weights and finished in front of Shamshon when fourth here last time. Alsvinder is back on a winning mark and will be sharper for a recent outing as will Pink Flamingo.
