In depth

Verdict

Chairmanoftheboard started off last season on a mark of 96 and is down to a more realistic level though hasn't run since October. Torochica scored over 1m2f at Lingfield and her last three runs have been on the ice at St Moritz. PAPA STOUR went up 8lb for an easy victory here, when Samphire Coast was well beaten, then was by no means disgraced in a much better race over 7f at Newcastle. He looks the one to beat though Havana Rocket won first time back at Newcastle last January so the lack of a recent run shouldn't pose a problem. Long Call could find this on the short side.
