        Verdict

        Eastern Star has won twice over 6f on Turf but has yet to win in 15 starts on the all-weather. Barrington went close over 6f at Kempton recently but RIVER CHORUS finally looks set to take advantage of a tumble down the weights. The latter missed out by only a neck at Wolverhampton a week ago and a first-time tongue-tie should bring further progress. Adace won off a higher mark at Brighton in August while Cousins Joy could improve now handicapping.
