In depth

Verdict

Lady Wolf came here for the first time last month and scored over the trip, getting up in the closing stages to catch tonight’s rival Chakrii. She’s lightly-raced and a 4lb rise doesn’t look excessive so another big run is anticipated. Colony Queen overcame trouble in-running to land a novices’ contest at Wolverhampton and doesn’t look overburdened for her handicap debut. TABOU BEACH BOY had been well beaten in all starts before attracting strong support for his handicap debut at Wolverhampton when just failing to hold off Warrior Display. There should be plenty more to come from Mick Easterby’s charge who can gain compensation. Biz Markee looked in need of this sort of trip when staying on over a mile at Kempton and Time Immemorial also has the scope to do better over this trip.
