Verdict
Roman Spinner is back on the same mark as when successful at Kempton in December and is not out of this while Ruby Gates ran well in a conditions race over track and trip given the unfavourable terms. Torbellino won in the snow at St Moritz last time but will find this tougher but Carnival Rose finally won a handicap when successful at Lingfield with Caen Na Coille behind. VENUSTA (NAP) sported a first-time visor on her return to action and debut for new connections and dead-heated for first place with Agent Of Fortune over course and distance. The latter went on to complete a hat-trick and Patrick Owen’s filly should make another bid on that form.
